Curtain formed from pre-galvanised light gauge material. The curtain fully assembled is complete with end cast capping to each end of lath. The lower curtain being complete with rubber weather seal.
The barrel on which the curtain coils is manufactured from mild steel tube, complete with all necessary inner box shafts and helical springs. The size of the barrel and number of springs will be purpose designed to suit specific opening sizes and curtain weights. Where geared shutters are required, the gearing would consist of either spear gearing or chain wheel drive.
Brackets generally constructed from mild steel plates, complete with suitable fixing angles for supporting the shutter at high level off the opening structure. The gear end bracket would incorporate the spear gearing or chain drive, again dependent on opening size.
Vertical side guides formed from pre-galvanised material. Where necessary all guides would be complete with suitable mounting angles; again, purpose designed to suit site conditions.
A separate brush head seal would be provided, therefore requiring suitable lintel to which this can be introduced to close off the air space between the curtain face and the lintel face; standard brush seal being able to accommodate a maximum 75mm between lintel and curtain face.
